Job Description Summary:

Fortinet EMEA Labs is looking for a seasoned Full-Stack developer with an interest in networking and cybersecurity.

You will join our lab engineering team and help build robust, scalable, and user-friendly applications from designing intuitive front-end interfaces to architect efficient back-end systems.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys solving complex problems, and loves collaborating across disciplines.



Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologies
  • Collaborate with solution architects, product managers, and other engineers to deliver high-impact features
  • Design and implement RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services
  • Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness across devices
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
  • Provide technical solutions, including development, testing and documentation of application modules
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and propose improvements to existing systems

Skills and Attributes Requirements:

  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js)
  • Strong back-end experience with languages like Node.js, Python
  • Experience with databases (SQL and NoSQL)
  • Familiarity with version control systems (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization (Docker)
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Educational and Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in full-stack development
  • Proficiency in both English and German (written and spoken)
